INTRODUCTION
Lamias Fish Market, or LFM, is a fresh new seafood restaurant located in the heart of the lower east side at 47 Avenue B.
Reimagining The original legendary space of the previous Le Souk Moroccan restaurant, LFM takes the sexiness and femininity of seafood and gives it that Lower east side edge
THE STORY
The owner, Lamia Funti, is achieving her long-time dream by creating this new restaurant in a sexy setting, designed with women in mind.

Lamia’s background is from Spain and Morocco. Inspired by her roots the cuisine will have mediterranean influence that is locally sourced. The cuisine will reflect where tradition meets innovation.
Lamia has left some elements of the legendary old Le Souk space that she adored, to remind her of where she met her husband many, many, many years ago.
DESIGN
The Designer for LFM is Dara Young, Founder of Aviva Collective and 4FRONT Hospitality Development.

Dara is an award winning architectural, interior, fashion and costume designer with 19 years of multidisciplinary design experience. She most recently won a prestigious 2016/17 International Restaurant & Bar Design Award for “Bar of the Americas” for her design of NYC restaurant Kat & Theo. Her work has been exhibited in the Swarovski Museum’s located in China and in Brazil.
